I am a graphic designer whose creative practice began in painting and sculpture. My fine arts background continues to shape how I approach design, encouraging me to think holistically about image-making, form, material, concept, composition, and the ways in which different visual languages can communicate. I work across branding, digital and print design, flyers, and album artwork for artists, art institutions, labels, and small businesses. With an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Georgia, I bring a hands-on, experimental approach to the digital space.
Music is also central to the way I think about design. I am an electronic musician and songwriter myself, and I often approach a project in the music space by asking: What does this want to communicate? How does the music make me feel? What visual language can help translate that feeling into something tangible? Because of this, I love working closely with musicians and music event promoters, helping them develop and communicate their identities, whether through an album cover or digital branding. Over the past several years, I have collaborated with artists, small businesses, labels, and event producers on a wide range of projects, contributing to both creative direction and hands-on execution. I enjoy complex visual challenges and working collaboratively to turn an idea into something real. I am quick to learn new technologies and I especially enjoy projects that allow for both simplicity and experimentation.
At the heart of my practice is a deep care for graphic design, collaboration, and making work that resonates with the client. Whether I am elevating someone else's existing vision or helping establish something entirely new, I want the work to feel thoughtful, distinctive, and true.
